About Quality Time Respite
WHO IS QUALITY TIME RESPITE
Quality Time Respite (QTR) was formed by Husband and Wife duo Leigh and Chantee-Marie Johnson. Leigh with his business management skills and Chantee with extensive business administration and disability support skills decided to merge their skills and offer the disability community another option in which care can be provided. With core values of trust, integrity, choice and engagement, QTR is a provider that offers a high-quality service, which our clients look forward to returning to.

WHAT SERVICE DO WE OFFER

WHAT DO WE PROVIDE
QTR provide quality, trained support staff who will offer a safe and supportive environment for our clients whilst away from their home. We support clients with all personal care needs, medication administering including high health support care needs such as Gastrostomy feeding and Fleet Enema administration. All meals, minor activity expenses and transport are provided and included within our service.
WHERE WE CHOOSE TO STAY
We like for our clients to experience quality accommodation. Therefore, we aim to seek and book out accessible yet stylish and convenient accommodation sites in and around Adelaide. From luxury apartments right in the heart of the City to sea and park view apartments at Glenelg, to cosy accessible homesteads at Victor Harbour and Port Elliot through to indulgent sea view town houses at Port Willunga, we will endeavour to provide comfortable accommodation for our clients to enjoy and we are always on the look out for new accommodation sites to utilise.

ACTIVITIES WE CAN OFFER
Due to Covid-19, indoor activities have taken over with restrictions to outdoor activities. These include arts and crafts, cooking, daily living skills and games. Some of the outdoor/community activities when Covid restrictions are lifted may include sailability, kayaking at Port River Dolphin Sanctuary, watching a movie, enjoying games of bowling, visiting wildlife parks, watching live bands at festivals, swimming at hydro pools, shopping and enjoying lunch at one of the many wineries and various restaurants that Adelaide has to offer. We recognise that not all clients like to do the same activity, so we encourage our clients to be involved in the choosing process of what activities to try over the course of their stay. This will often be organised on the first night away.
